Delhi: Patient kills self at AIIMS, no suicide note found | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: A patient admitted to the AIIMS allegedly committed suicide at the hospital bathroom early on Thursday morning.
Doctors say that the man was undergoing treatment for a prolonged period and might have slipped into depression due to this. No suicide notes were found from him.
The incident was reported around 5am when the hospital staff noticed the man, Rajmani Sattar hanging from the grill of a window at the bathroom using a piece of cloth.
The body was cut down and sent for an autopsy at the AIIMS mortuary and an enquiry under section 174 CrPC has been initiated. Police say that no foul play has been noticed in the incident.
