GHAZIABAD: At least seven people died while four others were injured in an explosion at a factory in Modi Nagar town in Ghaziabad on Sunday, district magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey said.

Expressing grief over the incident, chief minister Yogi Adityanath asked the district magistrate and senior superintendent of police to visit the spot and provide relief to the injured.
The CM also offered his condolences to the families of the deceased.
