HYDERABAD: Every year Hyderabad’s theatre fraternity pays its tribute to playwright Qadir Ali Baig on his death anniversary on June 3 by staging a performance in the city.
This year, however, given the Covid-19 crisis Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation is paying its tribute through an online reading session on June 3 at 7.30 pm. Theatre-revivalist Mohammad Ali Baig will be reading the story titled Alone, which revolves around a yesteryear actress and her life in self-isolation. “We thought it would be the right way to pay tribute to the doyen and mark the 15th anniversary of the foundation ,” Mohammad Ali said.
