Kalinga Centre to conduct snake rescue programme | Chennai News

CHENNAI: The Kalinga Centre for Rainforest Ecology (KCRE) will conduct an online snake rescue and review session from June 5 to 7 for rescuers. The session will be held between 5pm and 6.30pm on all days.
The highlight of the programme is that you can share your snake rescue video and get your techniques reviewed by herpetologist P Gowri Shankar.
If you are new to the field, you can learn the basics, ethics of smart and safe snake rescues. The session will highlight the importance of knowing legal implication as a snake rescuer.
Gowri Shankar is a wildlife biologist studying king cobras for more than two decades.
