Nursing staff withdraw strike at Hyderabad hospital | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Outsourcing staff at Gandhi hospital (the designated Covid- excellence centre) in Hyderabad have withdrawn from their protests after the discussion with director of medical education (DME) Ramesh Reddy on Wednesday evening.
The staff were protesting since two days demanding better payment and regularization of work.
The government has agreed to their demands of paying Rs 300 per day for the services during Covid- 19 pandemic and also that their shifts will be on alternate days. The strike of nurses and security staff was causing a lot of trouble to the patients in the hospital.
