Trust members distribute ration to the needy in Patiala.

PATIALA: The Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust has decided to feed three lakh people from 60,000 families across the state during the month of June.
Dr SP Singh Oberoi, the managing trustee of the NGO, launched the campaign by distributing ration to more than 300 families in Thedi village of Patiala district.
Dr Oberoi said the trust was providing ration to the needy for six months.
About 380 tonnes of ration was distributed during April and about 500 tonnes in May.
Apart from this, ration would also be provided to 4,000 families belonging to the lower-middle section. Oberoi said that these were the families who were unable to get work during the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
He assured the families that the rations would reach their homes.
